1921 Developed lock for Moto-Meter temperature gauge on automotive radiators. |

1926 The Stant Machine Company moves to Columbia Ave. |

1927 Designed flying quail ornament for first Ford Model A. |
|
|
1932 Invented the locking gas cap. |

1935 Produced many famous hood ornaments for classic cars like the Lincoln, Packard,Pierce Arrow and Auburn. |

1944 Earned armed forces "E" award for the production of 50 caliber machine gun shell casings. |

1960 Invented the Lev-R-Vent safety pressure cap. |
|
|
1962 Added thermostats to aftermarket. |

1965 Stant Manufacturing is purchased by the Purolator Products Company |

1970 Emission control caps introduced to comply with environmental laws. |

1973 Arab oil embargo creates exploding demand for locking gas caps. |

1981 The Stant Pine Bluff Arkansas Plant opens. |
